Even as adults we occasionally need to look up words that we keep forgetting how to spell.  We often try to think about the spelling rules that we learned back in Elementary School to help us structure the word.

As students learn new words, they may also want to learn the meaning of the word, and what type of word it is, and even how it might be used.  These personal dictionaries can also be simply word lists.

This dictionary could be used several ways or sectioned as:

• An actual dictionary that includes the spelling, meaning and type of the word. You could also include a sentence using the word and synonyms for the word.
• A word list
• A word list by type – Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, etc
• Spelling Rules
• Word type definition
• Sentence structure information
• Punctuation Information
